Day 1

Arrival in Fort Portal – Gateway to the Rwenzoris

Arrive in Fort Portal, Uganda’s most scenic town. Enjoy a guided walk through the city and visit the Amabere Caves, where you’ll learn about local folklore. End the day with stunning views of the Rwenzori Mountains.
Venture into the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains on a guided nature hike. Walk through lush forests, meet local communities, and learn about the Bakonzo people’s traditions. Enjoy breathtaking views of the mountain peaks and waterfalls.

Rwenzori Foothills Hike & Cultural Experience

Explore the Crater Lakes Region

Discover the picturesque crater lakes surrounding Fort Portal. Visit Lake Nyinambuga, famously featured on the Ugandan currency, and hike to panoramic viewpoints overlooking the rolling landscapes. Enjoy a relaxing picnic by one of the lakes.
