Day 1

Transfer from Entebbe to Semuliki National Park

Start your journey with a scenic drive from Entebbe to western Uganda. Pass through Fort Portal, a picturesque town at the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains. Stop for lunch before continuing to Semuliki National Park, where you’ll check in at your lodge, relax, and prepare for an exciting adventure.
Head into the dense forests of Semuliki for an exhilarating chimpanzee tracking experience. Follow experienced guides as they lead you through the jungle in search of these intelligent primates. After lunch, embark on a guided nature walk through the diverse forest, home to rare bird species and other primates like the black-and-white colobus monkey.

Day 3

Explore Sempaya Hot Springs & Community Visit

Visit the famous Sempaya Hot Springs, where you can witness boiling water jets reaching up to 100°C. Learn about the cultural significance of these springs to the local Batwa community. Later, visit a nearby village to interact with locals, learn about their traditions, and enjoy traditional dance performances.
Enjoy an early morning game drive in Semliki Wildlife Reserve, a perfect place to spot buffaloes, elephants, warthogs, and even leopards. In the afternoon, take a relaxing boat ride on Lake Albert, where you may spot hippos, crocodiles, and the rare shoebill stork.

Day 5

Return to Entebbe

After breakfast, enjoy one last nature walk before departing for Entebbe. Stop for lunch in Fort Portal before continuing your journey back. Arrive in Entebbe in the evening, marking the end of a memorable adventure.
