Day 1
Arrival in Entebbe – Welcome to the Pearl of Africa
Upon landing at Entebbe International Airport, you’ll be greeted by our safari guide. Transfer to your hotel for a relaxing evening as you prepare for your adventure.
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Kibale Forest National Park, Uganda’s primate capital. Enjoy views of tea plantations and the rolling hills of Fort Portal before arriving at your lodge near the forest.
Day 2
Day 2: Transfer to Kibale Forest – Home of Primates
Day 3
Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Swamp Walk
Head into the rainforest for an unforgettable chimpanzee trekking experience. Watch these playful primates in their natural habitat as they swing through the trees. In the afternoon, take a guided walk in Bigodi Swamp, famous for its rich birdlife and other primates like colobus monkeys.
Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s most diverse wildlife destination. Enjoy a game drive in the Kasenyi Plains, where lions, elephants, buffalos, and antelopes roam freely. Later, embark on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, known for its dense population of hippos, crocodiles, and water birds.
Day 4
Queen Elizabeth National Park – Game Drive & Boat Cruise
Day 5
Ishasha Tree-Climbing Lions & Transfer to Bwindi
Travel through the Ishasha sector, home to the rare tree-climbing lions. If lucky, you’ll spot them lazily resting on fig tree branches. Continue to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas.
After a briefing from park rangers, venture deep into the jungle to track a gorilla family. Spend an unforgettable hour observing these gentle giants before returning to your lodge to relax.
Day 6
Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi – A Once-in-a-Lifetime Experience
Day 7
Return to Entebbe – Departure
After breakfast, drive back to Entebbe with a stop at the Equator for photos and souvenirs. Depending on your flight schedule, you can explore craft markets before heading to the airport.
