Day 1
Arrival & Cultural Welcome in Kampala
Upon arrival in Entebbe, transfer to Kampala for a city tour. Visit the Uganda Museum, Kasubi Tombs, and Ndere Cultural Centre for an exciting traditional dance performance. Enjoy a welcome dinner featuring authentic Ugandan cuisine.
Drive to Fort Portal, Uganda’s cultural capital in the west. Explore the Toro Kingdom Palace and meet the local king’s representatives. In the afternoon, visit the Amabere Caves and hike to the scenic crater lakes.
Day 2
Transfer to Fort Portal – Cultural Immersion & Crater Lakes
Day 3
Transfer to Fort Portal – Cultural Immersion & Crater Lakes
Drive to Fort Portal, Uganda’s cultural capital in the west. Explore the Toro Kingdom Palace and meet the local king’s representatives. In the afternoon, visit the Amabere Caves and hike to the scenic crater lakes.
Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park and enjoy an afternoon boat safari on the Kazinga Channel. Spot hippos, elephants, crocodiles, and incredible birdlife. End the day with a cultural performance by the local Bakonzo people.
Day 4
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park & Boat Safari
Day 5
Game Drive & Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Enjoy an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, searching for lions, elephants, and leopards. Continue to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to the rare mountain gorillas. Relax at a forest lodge in the evening.
Embark on an unforgettable gorilla trekking adventure in Bwindi. In the afternoon, visit the Batwa pygmies, Uganda’s indigenous forest dwellers, and learn about their ancient traditions through music and storytelling.
Day 6
Gorilla Trekking & Batwa Cultural Experience
Day 7
Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi – Canoeing & Cultural Encounters
Head to Lake Bunyonyi, Uganda’s most scenic lake. Enjoy a canoe ride to the legendary Punishment Island and interact with local communities. Spend the evening relaxing at a lakeside lodge.
Drive back to Kampala, stopping at the equator for photos and souvenir shopping. Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy a farewell cultural performance before heading to the airport.
