Day 1
Arrival in Entebbe – Welcome to the Pearl of Africa
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by our safari guide. Enjoy a relaxed evening at a lakeside hotel, where you’ll receive a safari briefing as you prepare for an unforgettable adventure.
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Kibale Forest National Park, Uganda’s primate haven. Along the way, pass through rolling tea plantations and the beautiful town of Fort Portal, where you’ll stop for lunch before heading to your lodge near the rainforest.
Day 2
Transfer to Kibale Forest – The Primate Capital of the World
Day 3
Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary Walk
Set off on a guided trek into Kibale Forest, where you’ll track wild chimpanzees in their natural habitat. Spend an hour watching them swing through the trees, play, and forage. In the afternoon, visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a paradise for bird watchers and a great place to spot other primates like red colobus monkeys and L’Hoest’s monkeys.
Enjoy a scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s most diverse wildlife destination. Upon arrival, embark on an evening game drive through the Kasenyi Plains, where you’ll have the chance to spot lions, elephants, buffalos, and antelopes.
Day 4
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park – Evening Game Drive
Day 5
Morning Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise
Start the day with a sunrise game drive, catching predators on the hunt and herds of elephants roaming the savannah. Later, take a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, famous for its large hippo and crocodile populations, plus a variety of bird species.
After breakfast, drive through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you may spot the rare tree-climbing lions lounging in fig trees. Continue to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to Uganda’s majestic mountain gorillas.
Day 6
Transfer to Bwindi – Through Ishasha’s Tree-Climbing Lions
Day 7
Gorilla Trekking – A Life-Changing Experience
Today is the highlight of your safari! After a briefing from park rangers, venture into the dense rainforest in search of a gorilla family. Once found, spend an awe-inspiring hour observing their behaviors, interactions, and sheer strength. After your trek, unwind at the lodge and reflect on this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Enjoy breakfast before making the journey back to Entebbe, stopping for lunch and scenic photo opportunities along the way. Depending on your flight schedule, you can visit the craft markets before heading to the airport for departure.
