Day 1
Arrival in Entebbe – Transfer to Kampala
Welcome to Uganda! Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by your guide and transferred to Kampala for an overnight stay. Enjoy a city tour if time allows, exploring vibrant markets and cultural sites.
Depart early for Murchison Falls National Park with a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided rhino tracking experience. Continue the journey, arriving in time to witness the breathtaking Murchison Falls, where the Nile squeezes through a narrow gorge.
Day 2
Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park – Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Day 3
Game Drive & Nile Boat Cruise
Wake up early for a game drive in Murchison Falls, home to lions, elephants, giraffes, and buffaloes. Later, take a boat cruise along the Nile, getting close to hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species.
Head to Kibale Forest National Park, famous for its high concentration of primates. Enjoy scenic views of tea plantations and lush forests along the way.
Day 4
Transfer to Kibale Forest – The Primate Capital
Day 5
Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Swamp Walk
Embark on a thrilling chimpanzee trekking adventure in Kibale. Later, explore Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, known for its diverse birdlife and cultural encounters with the local community.
Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s most diverse wildlife park. Enjoy an evening game drive, spotting elephants, lions, and antelopes.
Day 6
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park – Evening Game Drive
Day 7
Morning Game Drive & Boat Safari on the Kazinga Channel
Start the day with a game drive in the Kasenyi sector, a prime area for spotting lions and leopards. Later, take a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, famous for its high concentration of hippos and water birds.
The highlight of the safari! Hike through the dense jungles of Bwindi to encounter the endangered mountain gorillas. After the trek, begin the journey back to Kampala or Entebbe for your departure.
